Makenzie pictured below, finds a WAY!
This Warrior once upon a time had some aspirations of competing in Taekwondo tournaments . We remember training with her for those tournaments.
But sometimes Life throws some roadblocks in your path, and when life happened to Makenzie, she had to take some breaks in her training.
Upon returning to training this latest time, she another roadblock- being out MONTHS for a MAJOR back surgery!
Now it’s not best from a Safety standpoint for her to do full contact Taekwondo competition.
But when you Love Taekwondo, you Love Taekwondo:
Makenzie is attending and AAU Taekwondo Referee Clinic this weekend to become certified as a D Level Referee. Why does she want to become certified and put some time in as a referee? Her words “I think the experience will help me become a great COACH.
We couldn’t agree more and we’re happy to help her slightly modify her path.
